Mother Teresa having clearly spoken her doubt in God and the existence of Heaven, why do some people twist her

words to try to make it appear to have been a temporary lapse on her part? Mother displayed her honesty, so why shouldn't all we Catholics be just as honest in discussing her words, and her honest doubts behind those words?Mother Teresa having clearly spoken her doubt in God and the existence of Heaven, why do some people twist her
Because they never saw or came across the things that Mother Teresa endured. I think her doubts were natural, after seeing the poverty, illnesses and death praying for them and receiving the answer "no" from God, because it wasn't part of his plan. Although she had doubts, she walked in faith and acted in faith which makes her a woman of faith.Mother Teresa having clearly spoken her doubt in God and the existence of Heaven, why do some people twist her
Hi,

We sure can. Even Jesus had two moments of doubt at pain:

1) When he wept in the Garden Of Gethsemane

2) When he cried out on the cross, Father, why have you forsaken me?

If Jesus himself therefore did, what do people expect then?

Surely we are entitled to our negative moments now and then.

God bless Mother Teresa! Anyone with half a brain regardless of religion has doubts...period. To deny that would be and out and out lie! Regardless of that, her heart still lead her to do phenominal things, befitting of a saint. That should be a lesson to us all. Amen...
