I always thought "wry" meant to twist wet clothes in a way so as to eliminate water.
But on dictionary.com it gave a whole different meaning.
So if the word I am looking for is not "wry", then what is it?Please help me find the right word?

Wring..... Think about it. "Wring out those rags." You would not say, "Wry out those rags", but you would say, "I have a wry neck."
