Question for everyone: why are lawyers allowed to manipulate the truth and sometimes?

..flat out lie...twist words, get away with loopholes??

thus causing the release of some very sick and twisted people...that would otherwise deserve a jail sentence or worse...

and on the other hand how come innocent people have to struggle very hard to prove their innocence when dealing with these underhanded lawyers...

i believe the judicial system has long come down to who can afford the better liar and manipulator in their corner...

what can be done about this and can these lawyers be held accountable of what they cause?

thank you.

serious answers please....Question for everyone: why are lawyers allowed to manipulate the truth and sometimes?
lawyers dont lie!!!! They find loopholes in arguments and they must be smart and alert. problem is, sometimes a criminal does it so cleanly and makes the innocent a scapegoat. that's why there is a phrase "Law and Justice are Distant Cousins" or something like that. but with enough thinking and reasoning, no criminal can get away. the judical system comes down to, not only who is your lawyer, of course which determines if your argument covers the loopholes. lawyers are manipulators of words, not evidence. lawyers word their arguments tright down to the dot in the 'i' and they read it over and over again, finding loopholes or backfiring evidence.

in conclusion lawyers are excellent manipulators of words and loophole finders. not liars. the only thing they cause is eith justice or injustice. of course there is a court of appeal and final court of appeal if you wish...
Hah its not really like that. Lawyers and prosecutors have to be really smart and keen. The smallest slip of words can backfire on them. It works both ways. It may be unfair 1% of the time, but truth be told would you rather it be Congo where they shoot you on the spot?Question for everyone: why are lawyers allowed to manipulate the truth and sometimes?
The "legal loophole" is largely a myth. It's rare that a criminal will escape on some silly technicality in the law (not everything you see on TV is real). Remember that the jury is not going to care about some random legal phrase- they can do what they like. Most criminals escape prosecution by bribing police or judges, and by simply hiding any evidence that could be used against them.

Yes, it is true that criminals sometimes escape justice, and that lawyers will sometimes use dodgy techniques to aid their cases. But at the same time, everyone deserves a proper defence. To be convicted, you need to proved guilty "beyond reasonable doubt", which basically means that they have to have enough evidence against you to be absolutely sure it was you.

In short, the law doesn't quite work the way you think it does.
Because their service is bound to their clients and not to the greater good. It's up to the judges and juries to decide when a lawyer is flat out lying and stating things without any actual evidence.Question for everyone: why are lawyers allowed to manipulate the truth and sometimes?
Lawyers know the law, hence they know how to manipulate the gullible. Do your own research, it is surprising how much a layman can get away with too. Don't ever be put off just because they are lawyers, half the time they are useless at cross examining if you know up-front what they may be seeking in answer to you. If in doubt keep your mouth shut in court.
