Why do people back stab you and never confront you?

I'm wondering why people back stab me and NEVER confront me when there's something. They ALWAYS go behind my back. NEVER confront. I mean why? Is it that hard to confront a person. Is it because they think i'm intimidating or are they that insecure or what?

When ever there is something, they twist words and turn a lot of others against me. I'm seriously wondering why? It is really getting back at me.

What should I do, how show them that i really want this to stop. Keep ignoring it? or drop hints? or what? Plz help.Why do people back stab you and never confront you?
its a cowardly action by people who are afraid tha in a real confronation they will be proved wrong



i had a job in a bakery

ther was a girl there with a crack habit

she smashed some stuff one day

and the next day came in an hour later to tell the boss that I did it.

i didn;t even shed a tear when she overdosed and died the next week.Why do people back stab you and never confront you?
they do this beacuse they are scared of you or scared of how u might react to the truth. most of the times they don't confront u cos all they have to say about u is lies and they know u won't agree to what they're saying so they tell someone else who doesn't really know what happened. the only way to stop this is to avoid such people even if they are close friends. u're reall friends won't back stab you, just be ur self and be nice, don't worry about what they have to say about u cos they always have something to say even if u didn't do anything. so just stay away from such people and prove them wrong by doing the right thing.Why do people back stab you and never confront you?
they are insecure and the friendship still means something to them unless they are bad/fake friends. or you could have done something to them for them to believe the issue that was backstabbed about.
Confront them i'm pretty sure the'll tell you what's up and what's bothering them show them your not scared because that's probably why they do it they probably think your not planning on doing anything about it
