Do prosecutors go easier on you if pleading guilt right away?

For instance, say you are caught with drugs. If you at first said they were personal possestion, then you later admit at magistrates court that they were for supply. When it reaches crown, will they not go into all the aggrovating factors and twist your words etc (CPS are renowned for this)

So what im asking, is if they know they are getting there conviction, will they still pull out every stop to blacken your name to there full extent, with all aggrovaing factors, and word twisting, and overestimating amounts etc etc?Do prosecutors go easier on you if pleading guilt right away?
The Prosecution don't have any interest in getting you a heavy sentence. Their main concern is to gain a conviction and to be able to file the case away. They are called upon to give the brief facts of the case and obviously they are going to mention the fact that you admitted that you were in possession with intent to supply, but don't forget that your barrister has the last word and will fall over backwards to point out how cooperative you have been and all the positive things (s)he can think of in your favour. You will certainly be given credit in sentencing for your plea of guilty.Do prosecutors go easier on you if pleading guilt right away?
The CPS don`t twist words or overestimate anything.
They will seek prosecution only for the crime you have been charged with.
If it was possession of drugs, that is what it will be.If it was supply, that is what it will be.If you admit to what ever the charge is,straight away, you will be treated more favorably than if you only admitted at a later stage or not at all.

Essentially, the earlier in the judicial process you admit the charge, the better it is for you.Do prosecutors go easier on you if pleading guilt right away?
When you are honest, you get more respect. You still have to pay the consequences of your actions. If you changed your story, you probably will not get the full respect. The more honest you are and cooperative you are, the more respect you will have. They may give you some leniency, but they may not.
