Hell is not eternal separation from God's presence. It is perceived separation from God's presence and from the benefits of being in His presence.

What does this mean? This simply means they won't be able to feel His presence (1 Thess. 1:9 from the glory of His power).

So hell is merely perceived eternal separation from God's presence. It is a place where people have the inability to feel and enjoy God's presence and God's love.
