What is the meaning of the word restate the thesis?

In an conclusion of an essay, it is to sum up what the article is about. A writer concludes a paper by summing it up: what is the meaning of each of these when writing an esay paper.Restate the thesis; summarize; ask a question; offer a qoutation; give an ironic twist; a surprising observation, or a clever ending; throw out a personal challenge; or recommend actions for the readers to take. What is the meaning of the word restate the thesis?
Take the thesis statement from the first paragraph and the conclusions from the supporting paragraphs and come up with a sentence that demonstrates how you have proven your point in the body of your paper.

Your thesis statement say what you want to prove.

Your support conclusions show what you have proven.

So your restatement should say this is what my paper has shown you. What is the meaning of the word restate the thesis?
When you summarise at the end you need to say what the original question or hypothesis of the thesis is about. That is restating the thesis. What is the meaning of the word restate the thesis?
I'll show you by example: If the ending to my paper were: Finally, Jon and Fred are two very interesting, vivacious, extraordinary, people. They are gifted in arts, writing, and music, and it shows.

1. Restate the opening sentence/ paragraph. To restate my example: Vivacious, extraordinary, interesting...These are just three of the qualities that describe our protagonist Jon Smith and his friend Fred Adams.

2. Summarize, using my example: Jon Smith and Fred Adams are two very deep characters that you really should get to know.

3. How many people do you know with as much talent as the two in this story?

4. "'Tis a gift to be simple, 'tis a gift to be free..., a talented song writer once wrote.

5. Suppose Jon and Fred hadnot been so talented, the "slings of sudden misfortune" would have met them "head on."

6. Without Jon to guide him, Fred wouldn't have been as motivated to use his talents

7."Que serra, serra.", (what must be must be) for everyone in the world...even fictional characters.

8. How will YOU use YOUR talents NOW?
restating the thesis is to summarize what has already been said.
