Why while are some words recognized as a word in TEXT TWIST ,not in LITERATI?

TEXT TWIST and LITERATI are,you know,yahoo game.Why while are some words recognized as a word in TEXT TWIST ,not in LITERATI?
That bugs me, too. I guess they were created by different people with different dictionaries.
usually its the other way around. or text twist wont use all the words possible. which irritated me. so i just went to pogo. now i play like cubis or that detective game on here....Why while are some words recognized as a word in TEXT TWIST ,not in LITERATI?
What really bugs me is the dictionary that Literati does use. I'd say 10% of the "words" that Literati has wouldn't be allowed in Scrabble.
