Who knows a good word to describe "people who twist words"?

In other words, people like Condy Rice (it's not an escalation, it's an augmentation) or Dick Cheney. This administration are such crazy evil wordsmiths that I feel like they can look right at you with a bomb in thier hand and say "I don't have a bomb" and the American public will believe them! What's a good term for those kind of people?Who knows a good word to describe "people who twist words"?
Manipulative and your ultra-credible opinions are noted.
auctioneer or yodeler crosses the mind.Who knows a good word to describe "people who twist words"?
You call them lying SOB's or in Condy's case a lying B.
dyslexic?Who knows a good word to describe "people who twist words"?
when they have university education, postmodernists.

when they don't, illiterates.

i was originally going to say alcoholics, and druggies. but the politicians went through rehab, right?? oh, and i love how YAnswers censored cheney's name.
Well, I was going to say "politician," but you have to include the Democrats, too. Let's not forget the infamous, "I never inhaled," and "I did not have sexual relations with that girl." And just listen to Hillary --- she's a master politician.

Another word might be "lawyer."
You can say that they are performing linguistic gymnastics (classic case: when Bill Clinton said 'I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky')
manipulative. artful. duplicitous. all a necessity in order to play the game of politics.
